365 ENVIRONcheck
Mobile Continuous Environmental
Fine Dust Monitoring System

The 365 ENVIRONcheck System is designed for continuous long-time assessing of the ambient particulate matter (PM`s) concentration.   It may be used as a mobile or stationary environmental dust monitor.  It simultaneously measures the PM10, PM2.5, PM1 values every sixty seconds and displays them as mass in µg/m3.  This can also measure the climatic conditions the specified location as well as the PAH or the soot concentration (optional).

This unique mobile monitoring system has other advantages.

  • No sample air heating needed so the volatile fraction is not lost.
  • Temperature, humidity and atmospheric air pressure sensors are included.
  • Storage of all data on a removable PCMCIA memory card (may hold up to one year's worth of data).
  • Remote data access via a wireless system.
  • Thermo-isolated stainless-steel weather-proof housing with ventilation and heater.
  • Instrument port for an optional PAH sensor or a soot sensor.
  • The housing's internal climate control allows for continual all year use outdoors in temps from -20 to +40 °C.
  • Few moving parts mean the long life and low maintenance of this system.
  • Totally portable.
  • System dimensions/weight:  Weight 26 kg, 65cm h x 45cm w x 40cm d
The Housing:

The housing and the sampling pipe are stainless steel which avoids corrosion.  It is thermo-isolated and has an internal automatic ventilation and heating system.  Our patented dehumidification system to avoid loss of the semi-volatile fraction. The sample is collected by a sample pipe with integrated vacuum dryer.  It is thermo-isolated and has an internal automatic ventilation and heating system.  The sample air supply and the vacuum pump for the sample air dehumidification are built in.  This system also uses an advanced low water sensitive laser and our specially patented light-scattering technique.  The sample is  collected by a sample pipe with integrated vacuum dryer.

The Spectrometer:

The #179 aerosol spectrometer has a resolution of the mass calculation of 1 µg/m³ with a flow rate of 72 liters/hour or 1.2 liters/minute. The constant flow rate is maintained by a large external flow controlled pump. Sheath air assures cleaning of the optic which means extended periods of remote operation are assured.
