Model 1.165 - Continuous Unattended Stand Alone Dust Monitor

The Model 1.165 has been designed to simultaneously measure PM 10 ,PM 2.5 and PM 1 dust mass monitoring values, ranging from 0.1 to 1,500 µg/m3

The photo above shows a 165 unit installed in a shipping harbor.  In the photo to the immediate right you will see a unit which is used at a truck stop control point (photos courtesy from Spain).

Main Features:
  • Moisture Insensitive Laser combined with high quality quartz collimators ensuring maximum sensitivity and consequently precise airborne particle size identification independent of sample air temperature.

  • High Speed Pulse Height Analyzer capable of classifying definable even high concentrations of particles in up to 15 different size ranges.

  • Electronically Controlled Sample Flow delivering constant pulse-free air volume samples at all times.

  • Integrated Dust Collection Filter which contains the collected particle samples for possible chemical or physical post-analysis.  

  • Integrated Temperature and Humidity sensors to re-cord environmental conditions at all times.

  • Access port for Additional Climatic Sensors which can be attached to record weather conditions as well.

  • Powered by a 18V (DC) or 110/230V (AC) at 50/60 HZ. (External power source can be a truck-battery or even a solar panel or wind generator).

The above photo shows the System 165 with the front panel open.  Visible is the dust monitor (in green), on the left (in blue) the dryer, above (in black and white) is the electronic control system.  Located on top of the housing is on the left the environmental sensor  and on the right the sampling tube inlet shown.
