Portable Environmental dust monitor 1.107-PTFE for real time EPA PM1O, PM25 and PM1

Instant Field Monitoring with our portable dust monitor.

Ideal for Quick Spot Checks such as boundary screenings, measuring or even personal dust monitoring for public places - our system accuracy that meets EPA method requirements.

Risk Management  - additional attached climatic sensors such as wind speed, temperature and/or humidity giving instant meteorological readings and consequently better understanding and judgment of possible associated dust hazards.

Filter Efficiency: Filter analysis in accordance to PM's method giving instant acceptance level determination right on the spot. We have special isokinetic samplers for this application.

Battery Operated: This unit can continuously measure up to seven hours, store the obtained results on its removable data storage card and even collect the measured dust samples on a removable 47mm PTFE type filter.

Weight: The complete system (including battery) weighs only 5 pounds.

Versatility: This unit fits into the weather housing model (Model 1.165), transforming it into an complete ENVIRON check system.

The carrying case provides easy and convenient manner to transport instrument and accessories to conduct spot check monitoring.

Dust Collection Filters

1.107-GF

1.107-GF with depth filter for up to one year uninterupted operation

The 1.107-GF (pictured above) is our standard configuration which reduces filter maintenance to only once a year. However, it utilizes a depth filter which gives up to one year of uninterrupted operation.  The bottle is also used to collect any possible moisture accumulation during standby periods.

If single flat dust composition filter analysis is required, the Model 1.107 can also be equipped with an optional integrated filter holder for use with our 47mm hydrophobic PTFE filters which allow a post-analysis of the collected dust. Our automatic flow control system maintains a constant the sample flow performance of the GRIMM monitor.

Maintenance

Each 1.107 spectrometer undergoes two factory calibrations. First with monodisperse latex spheres of known diameter at multiple points. Second, a polydisperse NBS approved dust mixture to assure proper mass conversion of the 31 different size channels. Only an annual recalibration is recommended in accordance with ISO 9001.

To verify the instrument performance, all GRIMM equipment report not only the measurement data, but also the instrument performance and/or possible errors. These data are available via RS-232 but are stored on the data logger as well. They can be downloaded via telephone or internet from the client.

Our annual inspection package with calibration is part of our worldwide dealer network commitment. Each Model 1.107 and 1.165 has internal filters to protect sensitive optics and to assure particle free rinse air. These filters as well as some O-rings should be changed annually.
